Westminster College Launches ICT Club: A Student-Led Tech Initiative

Kupandole, Lalitpur. In a move to empower tech-savvy youth and promote student leadership in technology, The Westminster College officially launched its ICT Club - a student-led tech community with a vibrant gathering of enthusiastic students.
The launch event was graced by the Head of College, Mr. Arun Lal Joshi, and Events and Engagement Manager, Mr. Subas Gauli. During the program, Mr. Joshi unveiled the ICT Club’s one-year plan, highlighting its mission, vision, and goals. He emphasized that the college will fully support the club’s activities through necessary funding and resources, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to student-driven innovation.
“All ICT-related programs on college will be led by students themselves,” Mr. Joshi said. “This initiative is not only about learning technology but also about learning leadership, teamwork, and initiative.”

The session kicked off with an engaging ice-breaker activity conducted by student Rupesh Dahal, setting an energetic tone for the event. Among the participants, Suprim Karki emerged as the winner of the session and was awarded a special gift by Mr. Joshi.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students posed insightful questions regarding the club’s operational structure and future roadmap. The enthusiasm and curiosity among the students signaled a promising start for this newly formed tech community.
