Young Innovators from Westminster Excel at Sankalpa Hackathon

Kupandole, Lalitpur. Team The Debuggers from The Westminster College secured third position at the Sankalpa Hackathon, organised by White House International College from 11–13 February.

The team, comprising Saugat Bhattarai, Nischal Dhakal, Suprim Karki, and Himani Devkota, impressed the judges with their innovative mobile application titled Prabashi, developed to support Nepali citizens who are working abroad or planning to travel overseas for employment opportunities.

The application is designed to help users verify genuine and fraudulent documents, scan locations, send SMS emergency alerts, access country-specific labour policies and workplace guidelines, and seek assistance in resolving employment-related issues. It also enables users to connect with the Nepali community and embassies abroad through live location sharing, ensuring timely support during urgent situations.
