Westminster Student Receives Bug Bounty Reward and Cyber Security Recognition
Kupandole, Lalitpur. The Westminster College proudly congratulates student Prajwal Acharya, also known as “ikab”, on receiving a bug bounty reward through the YesWeHack platform.
After conducting detailed security research and responsibly disclosing a vulnerability, Prajwal was awarded a cash bounty for a Medium severity finding under a recognised bug bounty programme. His achievement reflects not only strong technical expertise but also professionalism in communication, documentation, and responsible cyber security practices.
Reflecting on the experience, Prajwal said:
"The experience taught me valuable lessons about vulnerability research, writing clear technical reports, handling professional feedback, and advocating for fair security assessments in a constructive manner. My report went through multiple review stages before being successfully accepted."

His first vulnerability report was officially accepted under the Digital Flanders Vulnerability Disclosure Programme on the YesWeHack platform, securing him a place in the programme’s Hall of Fame.
This recognition highlights his responsible and ethical approach to identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities-an increasingly important aspect of today's digital landscape.
