Kupandole, Lalitpur. The Westminster College (TWC), Kupandole, Lalitpur, successfully organised a guest lecture session for BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Forensics students on 20 March 2026. The session brought together approximately 100 students from Level 4 and Level 5, providing them with valuable exposure to current industry practices and insights.

The lecture was delivered by Mr Kumar Pudashine, a distinguished cyber security expert and active community builder. His session, titled “Cyber Security Trends, Threats & Countermeasures,” focused on the evolving landscape of cyber risks and the practical strategies required to mitigate them.

Mr Pudashine shared his extensive professional experience, highlighting real-world cyber threats, emerging trends, and the importance of proactive security measures. He also emphasised the role of continuous learning and professional development in building a successful career in cyber security.

With his diverse background as an IT Governance Consultant, Information Security Trainer, IEEE member, and IS Audit Freelancer, Mr Pudashine provided students with both theoretical understanding and practical perspectives.

The session was highly interactive, allowing students to engage in discussions and gain clarity on key concepts. It served as an excellent platform to bridge academic learning with industry expectations, further strengthening students’ preparedness for future careers in cyber security.
