Kupandole, Lalitpur.  The Westminster College (TWC) organized a joyful Changa Chet event to celebrate the Dashain festival on 25 September 2025. As part of the celebration, around 30 students from the college gathered at Chovar to participate in the traditional kite-flying event.

The college encouraged students to embrace this long-standing Dashain tradition, especially at a time when kites are rarely seen dotting the skies. The weather turned out to be perfect for the celebration - clear blue skies and a gentle breeze made for ideal kite-flying conditions.

Students enthusiastically launched their kites, filling the Chovar skyline with vibrant colors. Laughter, friendly competition, and cheerful Chhet! echoed across the field as they cut and chased each other’s kites.

The event not only brought students together in festive spirit but also highlighted TWC’s commitment to preserving Nepal’s rich cultural traditions. The college expressed pride in its students for actively participating and keeping the joyful Dashain spirit alive through Changa Chet.
