T2K Crowned Champions of PUBG Mobile Westminster Showdown Season 3
Kathmandu, Nepal | Trends to Kill (T2K) emerged as the champions of the PUBG Mobile Westminster Showdown (PMWS) Season 3, held on Saturday and Sunday at The Westminster College, Lalitpur.
T2K secured the title by accumulating 113 points, including two Winner Winner Chicken Dinners across ten matches. Along with the championship trophy, the team received a cash prize of NPR 50,000.
The Four Elements (T4E) finished as runners-up with 104 points and three Chicken Dinners, earning a cash prize of NPR 20,000. Zero Fear Esports (ZF) claimed third place with 97 points, also registering three Chicken Dinners and receiving NPR 10,000 in prize money.
A total of 16 teams from different segments participated in the tournament. Special slots were allocated to renowned teams, including T2K, which recently competed in the Global Open Series, and ASL, the second runner-up of the 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship. Bangladesh's national champion team, A1 Esports RG, also participated in the event. Both ASL and A1 Esports RG competed online.
From the Girls Qualifier, 69 Esports and AMZ secured their places in the showdown. The Boys Qualifier featured teams including 4DM, TBG, ZF, ST, Aura, T4E, and Pablo Esports. Additionally, one team qualified through The Westminster College's Intra-College PUBG Tournament.
The tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) award was won by T2K's Ignious, who recorded an impressive 25 eliminations throughout the competition. He was also presented with a cash reward for his outstanding performance.
The annual tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from both players and spectators. The Westminster College continues to promote extracurricular activities alongside academics and remains committed to organising similar events in the future.
