Get ready to make your move at the Westminster Chess Competition 2025! This intense knockout-style tournament will bring together strategic minds from across the college in a battle of wits and tactics.

Competition Format:

• Knockout-style bracket
• Best-of-three matches
• The first player to win two games advances
• Losing players are eliminated

Rules & Regulations:

• Players must report 15 minutes prior to their match
• 15-minute time control per player (no increment)
• Touch-move rule applies
• Stalemate = Draw | Checkmate = Win
• Illegal move consequences: 1st: Warning & 2nd: Game loss
